Driveshaft?

AA yoke... mounted to the output by a nut... the ujoint mounts to the yoke with ubolts... not included... but easy to come by
The XJ/TJ front driveshaft won't bolt up then, as the double cardan joint does not leave uncovered ujoint cups to be bolted to the AA yoke with the ubolts. The ujoint cups are mounted into the end of the double cardan joint.

Take a look under the front of a TJ or XJ, you'll see what I mean.

You can see it a little in this pic, how you wouldn't be able to use the ubolts. Tough to describe. Top shaft, all the way to the right, you can see the small ears on each side of the ujoint cup, where the bolt comes from the backside of the tc yoke and threads into the double cardan joint.

Bounty..you are right...when i say it BOLTS right up...i am referring to bolts....my AA Yoke and cherokee DS CV uses bolts and not u-straps....hope this helps clear up some confusion.

oh ok.... either way... it will fit... i never looked at my driveshaft... so in some way or another, it will go in?

This is the business end of the stock XJ/TJ double cardan joint (Looking from the centering ball down towards the ujoint):

This is the flange that replaces the above yoke when attaching the XJ/TJ front shaft to the RE yoke:

can't you bolt the driveshaft to the rear output the same way it bolted to the front output?

Depends on the rear yoke. The stock rear yoke and similar, no, because the yoke and the double cardan are both threaded for bolts. One would have to be drilled out.

water pump advice

assuming that they'd line up right, i don't think it would be too much work to toss 4 small bolts in... the AA yoke has smooth holes, so they wouldn't need drilling

so do you have to buy that flange to bolt it up? Where do you get it?
