Down to just a quiver!

Been tuning my CJ5 up a little here and there and got it running pretty darn good. It had been neglected in the past by previous owners then was parked for a couple years. Anyway I had went through plugs, wires, cap and button. Not to mention carb rebuild, intake gaskett and clogged PVC. Everything I had done I could see improvement, gas mileage and power was getting better but still just wasn't quite right. Last week I went to buy the ignition module, when I got to the parts store the guy at the counter talked me out of it and I left with a new coil. Again it seemed to help a bit but just wasn't the total fix. Yeasterday I got the module and swapped them out. Out of all the things in the ignition I had replaced this was the biggest improvment, it really cleaned the idle up and made it more responsive. I thought these things were either good or bad? I noticed a bare spot in a wire on it that may have been grounding out and on the back side it had kinda like a burnt spot where the board is sealed. The only problem I've got left is when your driving and holding the gas steady every now and then it'll quiver just a bit. It's not very noticeable at all and doesn't seem to do it as much on the highway in 4th as it does in like 3rd on a backroad. Anybody got an idea?
