donor jeep?

I some how ended up w/ a 1984 cj7 jeep as well as the 1985 cj7. I purchased the 1984 for 500, but quickly realized that the frame was shot. I just couldn't pass up a complete jeep for 500. Now that I also have the 1985, which I'm planning on restoring, my question is should I keep it around as a donor or just sell it for what I purchased it for? The 1984 is pretty rusted out and I'm not sure what I will be able to use. Unfortunately it has the same 4cyl/trans combo as the 1985.

I would pull every thing I could off the one you're not restoring and start rebuilding them when you get the other running. That way you always have a nice source of pieces and partses when you brake things when you go silly goofy crazy on the trails. I'ld do the whole enchilada too, motor,trans/TC, front/rear axles, hood, fenders what ever is salvagable.:shades:

Its always nice to have your own parts department. If you have the room, hold onto it. It will, at least, pay for itself.
