I got the rear end lifted with my RE 5.5 extre. duty. After i set it down on the old tires it looks a little funny..maybe its just me cause i never played with a leaf spring jeep.

Looks like the front end of the rear wheel well is a little close to the tire? maybe its just me.

Front isn't done yet, but working on it..control arm drop brackets stink!

Also..if anyone has any idea of the lengths of the lower and upper control arms on this kit for a 2000 XJ i would LOVE to know. also track bar legnth.

Other then that i'll have pictures up as soon as i'm done.
 

It looks fine from the one picture you provided. Remember that even though its a leaf spring it still compresses in a arc. if you draw an imaginary arc from your front spring hanger the wheel will move up right into the center of the wheel well opening.

It looks fine. When you get it all in and done make sure to take it out and rock it around a little to work the new suspension in. It helps to settle everything where it should be.

Thats grannys garage floor. I wish I had a garage to do work in..mines filled with junk.

Just seems to me that 33" tires will rub on that corner of the wheel well. I know trimming will have to be done....speaking of that..anyone reccomend flares that have good coverage for wide tires(police around here like to ticket for flares not covering)..anyone have a picture of rusty's flares from the front view?
 

If you put them on backwards you would know, the XJ springs have a 6 inch offset

one of my friends has an epoxy covered garage, its alright, he and his father have decided that it hasnt been worth all the work. think of the phrase slippery when wet. among other things, just wasn't worth all the prep, moving everything out of the garage, painting it, moving everything back etc.

As far as the trackbar, you'll just have to mount one end, center the wheels, spin the adjustable end to length, and bolt the other end. Obviously you'll want to do this with the Jeep sitting on the floor not being supported by any jacks or stands. It may take a couple times to get it right, so don't tighten it too much at first ;)

I know its a pain, but look at how easy spills would clean up.
I'm really tempted to try it.
 
bchcky do the bushwackers fit on a 2000 XJ? i always see them for 84-96 not mine. wondering whats the big differnce

A buddy of mine epoxied his garage floor, but the kit he bought for it came with a bucket of gritty looking stuff, like vocanic cinders or something, to give it grip. You don't slide on it, whether it's wet or even covered in oil. I thought it was well worth the effort for that. I wouldn't do a complete "slick" epoxy job like LGR's, though. Much too dangerous when wet or oily. It does look pretty cool when it's all shiny and you have a shiny customized rig sitting on it, though!!;)
