I placed an order from them 3 months ago and still haven't received it yet. The last time I talked to him three weeks ago he said it was shipping that week. According to Jeepsunlimited.com they are about to file bankruptcy. The website is still up and they are still taking orders but nothing is being shipped.

I just talked to him... He claims he is broke and company will be filing for bankruptcy. He refuses to send me back my paypal payment..

Claims his bankruptcy lawers will handle it.

That sucks, good luck with this one. :bomb: Some one I know ordered several thousand bucks worth of jeep parts, had to take him to court, won judgement but never got the money, The guy's in jail and still, no money.:twisted::twisted::twisted:

Well, I checked with my two credit card companies since I wasn't sure which one I used and neither one of them show a charge from them. So I guess I'm not out any money I just don't have the sub box that I can't get anywhere else.

I got an email today from Offroadtoystore.com. It looked like an automated follow up email making sure everything was ok with the order. Ha. It's kind of the opposite of ok. So I searched and found that the owner had posted a message on this thread at Jeeps Unlimited. Looks like the owner is trying to get things resolved.

I know there are a lot of rumors floating around right now and I wanted to make sure everyone knows where things are at.

First off, I want to say that I intend to make sure that everyone is taken care of. Quite a bit of development on our situation has taken place over the last 24-48 hours and we belive we have a good way to handle everything.

I can't say details, but yes, we have had a few issues lately and we've been trying to figure out how to fix them. Largely the issues we have are caused by a dispute with our main supplier, and we have been in negotiations with them over the last week. I believe we will have a solution shortly and all products that have not shipped should be able to do so within a week.

I am calling all customers with outstanding orders today to present the options we have. If for some reason you don't hear from me today, please call me on my cell phone at 720-979-7337. It is going to be a busy day, so please leave me a message if I don't pick up.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding. The economy hasn't been kind to our industry, but Offroadtoystore is run by upstanding people and we intend to make sure that our customers are taken care of.

Well, it's good to hear that he's doing something, but I can't understand why he would post on a message board that he was going to make things right instead of emailing his customers directly.
