do i need both?

So I lifted the jeep 4"s and I put in the SYE and lowered the T-case. I don't really like the way my t-case hangs down the way it does. Could I lose the lowering kit and just keep the SYE? I kinda feel like the hangin is stressin my engine mounts and such.
by the way, the new look is good

you certainly could lose the lowering kit if you do the sye.... the sye is intended for that

yeah i was told to do both, but i'll see how it acts with just the SYE. prolly have to put back the drop linkage for the shifter now..feh

You will be good with just the SYE but I do have both on my Jeep...so do what you wanna...

I had mined dropped 2" and didn't have a problem. Running 4" springs with a springover. Your call..

the sye is intended, with a cv shaft, to get rid of the need of a lowering kit, it helps with your driveline angles. Put that Tcase back up and get yourself some more center clearance
