dash lights

[98 Jeep]

I did a search on this but no luck. If I hit a rough patch on the road the dash lights go out, hit another one they come back on. Any ideas.

ALSO, the stupid clock will not stop flashing. Non stop, can't set the time or anything. Please don't tell me it's a jeep thing, I've heard that way too many times.:redface:

Next time it happens press on the bezel of your headlight switch assembly - push right around the dimmer slider. Also try adjusting the headlamp switch

From what I've read it's not uncommon for the headlight switch to fail.
