dana 300 in a yj

anybody put a dana 300 transfer case in a yj?

i'm looking to see what i'll have to do to complete this.
i'm putting a dana 44 high pinion in the front so i'll get one with a passenger's side drop.

Much easier to put in a driver's side drop D44, save $$ on adapter to fit the D300 and you won't have to mess with the rear driveshaft.

my transfer case is smashed. got in a wreck. jeep's totaled. using the insurance money to rebuild into a trail rig.

What transmission are you using? Have you priced an adapter or will it bolt right up?

stock ax-15. advance adapters and novak each sell one for 170 and 168 respectively. i know the novak has the clocking ring i have to check with the advance adapters.

Sounds like all you'll need is the adapter ring, twin stick shifter (why not?), and driveshaft modifications.
