Dana 300 expert needed

[1981CJ5]

I have a 1981 CJ5 with a Dana 300 T case and a T176 transmission. Problem is, I have fluid coming up from the front of the plate that surrounds the shifters. It is beginning to form a small pool on the floor boards. I posted this problem a week ago and someone stated that the Daan 300 had a vent and that the fluid may be blowing up from there.

Question is, where can I find the vent? What would cause the fluid to be coming from the vent?

Pull the plate form aroung the shifters that should get you a good view of what is leaking.

the tube might be blocked and not letting fluid back down...
