Dale Jr. has just announced he will retire from NASCAR racing at the end of this season. He adds to the list of recent drivers who have retired recently including Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, and Carl Edwards.
All the old timers that I've enjoyed watching for years are all gone. 42 doesn't seem like an old timer but I guess in racing he is. I can't say that I was surprised by his decision and it's probably the right time for him to go but he will be missed. Who the hell will be the most popular driver now that he won't be there? I guess I've got to find one of these young uns to root for.
