I'm in Branford and having a problem findthe right ujoint I'm piecing together a Jeep that was setup by someone else

Might want to put a state with that. What's the u-joint for? axle drive shaft front rear

I'm in Connecticut its the rear its got a vortec 350 in it

Sorry for being so vague before, I was posting from my phone. Its the joint in my rear drive shaft, I picked this jeep up on the cheap with fond memories of my old YJ after the build up. I'm just trying to get it right because my girl is driving it right now and I worry about her safety. Any help would be appreciated.

It's going to depend on what axle you have, stock or other and what vehicle. If it was the YJ in you description and stock I'd say 1310 but who knows.

That is the problem its a mix of all different parts that I'm not all that familiar with

take the yoke off and go to the parts stop and see what fits

or


measure the yoke and get the correct joint, also, with a swapped in drive train, you unknown axle, you might need a conversion joint, so check/measure the shaft joint as well.
