I am planning on a 2 or 3" body lift and 31x10.5 Regul Trailblazer MTs sometime in then next 3 weeks or so. What does everyone think about this plan? good, bad, what do I need to watch out for, etc..... any comments are helpful.[addsig]

I personally think a 3" body lift looks really bad. You get large gaps between your bumpers and body unless you can raise your bumpers as well as the gap between your frame and body. 1 inch body lift doesn't look too bad, it's not really noticable. I'd save my money and invest in a spring lift or even shackles instead of the body lift. Just my opinion.

2-3 inch body lifts suck!! I did a 3 inch on my TJ the first week I had it. It looked terrible. Come to find out a 3 inch body lift on a tj w/ ac was not possible. Four wheel parts reccommended it anyway. My engine light came on and smelled burning. I called thier corporate office and they were surprised. They had to take it off immediatly . They paid for my rentacar and side steps to consimate. 32-3 inch body lifts and 4 wheel parts SUCK!!!!. Do an inexpensive susp. lift.[addsig]

My opinion on body lifts does not seem to vary with the common train of thought. I agree with the 1" body lift...not really noticeable. I plan on going with one when I jump to 35"s next year. With a '95...you really don't need a lift at all. They will rub a little going off the paven path...but big deal. If you want a little lift...look into a shackle lift. They're cost effective, easiest to install, not ugly, and really don't change the performance that much...a little decrease on the angle of approach...some say a little touchy on the highway...I didn't notice much when I had one. I'd look into the 1" body lift. Good luck.[addsig]

You are doing this right! Ask and then listen to what is said. No one here is going to steer you wrong when it comes to what is good bad and indefferent. Then take all you hear and sift thru it to get the best info for you and your jeep to make it the best for the kind of jeepen you will be doing.

I waited and learned and then I took all the info gathered and feel for me my jeep and the type of trailing I do i made the best possible choices for the money I had to spend. I spent under a grand and this is the results.
