coil upgrade

I have a cj8 with the stock 258 I6 and I am wanting to upgrade the coil to a hotter coil. What is the best coil and wires for my application??

I've heard the ford TFI ignition upgrade is very effective. It upgrades the distributor cap and coil because I guess the stock cap will crossfire. I'll be getting it for my '7 soon.

Yep, do the TFI (team rush) upgrade. Its the best bang for your buck. Also, if you ever need to replace your ignition module, go one step further and do the HEI/TFI hybrid (or stealth). Its just splicing a HEI module in place of the stock one. Its widely known that part store stock replacement modules have short lives. HEI last longer and cost the same. Also, you get the bonus of being able to leave your key in the on position (like for the radio) without killing your module.
