When you pull up to a light and stop do you keep the clutch pushed down or do you keep your foot off of it until the light changes? I never knew which way to do it so for 9 years on my TJ every time I was stopped I held the clutch in and had the transmission in first ready for when the light changed. I did end up having to replace the throw out bearing after 75,000 miles but not sure if that's related. Now on the new JK I'm not sure what to do. I've been keeping my foot off and transmission in neutral until I'm about ready to move then I'll clutch and gear. Which is better, up or down?
