classic bone stock cj pics

My 1980 CJ-7 (Laredo) still has original leather wrapped steering wheel. I believe the two front seats were recovered. Back seat is original with no tears at all.

The second pic to the left bottom is when I first got it in 1999. It has had that "chrome" grill cover thing on it which I'm not crazy about. I took it off. It is now a "wall hanging" in my bedroom.

my next one will be a flat fender.
and i will do the same thing.
factory wheels.
correct tires , seats ,engine etc.
to me it has to look the way it did in the sales brochure.

i am still running the unbridled raging thunder of 72 (count em!) unstoppable horsepower
of the mighty hurricane engine.

it makes strong men weep!

That F Head is a good little engine. I have one in my 1950 M38.

Nice Jeep - glad you're keeping it original. Those must be the wheels and tires you just got for it, NICE. - John

heres mine f-head 134 63 cj5 no mods 4 speed t-98
forest service vehicle.
soon to have correct bumpers and seats.

i have come to the conclusion that i am going to fix the hard top up
and put it back on for good.
it is cold more than it is warm here.
i love driving it without the top.
i am a morning person and am ready to go for a drive at dawn.
but i freeze my butt off.
it is just too cold around here.
i am putting a 40.000 btu heater in it as soon as possible also.

Those wheels look great Bill!! :shades:
Have you given any thought into purchasing a couple old "jerry" cans? There is a supplier I know of this side of Buffalo with reasonably $$ ones.
Best of luck with your hardtop, I was heartbroken when you disclosed the bad news. Fiberglass is easy to work with, Im optomistic your drive and determination will have it back to new in no time! :)
