Got a 4 inch lift on a 79 wanting to be able to clear 35 inch tires and looking for input. Thanks

anybody done a 4inch lift and followed up with a spring over conversion???

Take a look at this article in JP Magazine before you jump into a spring over. I know a lot of guys/gals do them and those how have and are happy with them more power to them but sometimes just because you can doesn't mean you should.

I have a 76 cj7. Its got a 4 inch susp. lift. When I stepped up from 33" tires to 35" tires I had a pretty bad rubbing problem. I went and made up some slightly longer shackles and got rid of the rubbing. I dont have any problems off road with it. The only thing I dont like is the fact that the front tires hit the springs at full turn. I need to get some 1.25" spacers at all 4 corners to be able to go full lock. But I can live with it for the time being.

Muddy7 got it right. You both can put 2 small washers behind the stops.
to keep the tires from hitting.
