I just did a 3" body lift on a 78 cj5 and wanted to add some comments on the forum. In addition to the procedure on this web site you must also add the extension in the gas filler hoses to ensure proper fit. Then weld a 2" long piece of rod stock (at lower end after last bend in engine compartment) on the clutch rod arm (from pedal to linkage) after putting a 1/8" bend in the arm (toward fire wall). These parts were in the kit, with the exception of the filler hose extensions The directions were missing from our kit so I thought this post might help someone else trying a body lift with no instructions. ;-) [addsig]
