What is the best replacement carb for a 1986 CJ 7 258ci with a carter 2 barrel without the stepper motor?

1)I'm generally happy with my Webber, but it does have some choke issues....I plan on going to a manual choke.
2)The Motorcraft MC2100 is VERY popular on 258s...I've had them on other engines & they are very simple & an all around good choice.
3)If you don't mind spending the extra $$$ a throttle-body fuel injection kit(like the 90-95 YJs) is another good option. A friend of mine has that set up on his 86CJ & he is happy....makes for some good comparison/debate vs my Webber set up.

or a nice small holley four barrel. a 450cfm or so, like i ran on mine. also, there is a holley two barrel that came on some old dodge vehicle in the 60s that works awesome. search using my name as the poster and it will pop up. its on this site but i cannot think of the number of hte carb

Dogone it...I knew you would ask that. It's a 32/34 with electric choke.

Not sure what Holley was on the old Doges, but a Holley 350 would be a good choice too.
