Should it be on the same side as the jeeps transfer case? And when you say clock it does that just mean angle it? And should I use the axles from this truck at all? Cause I'm sure it's got a big axle out back being a 2500 and all, will I have to change the fuel pump?

2wd may be a problem unless u by the Novak adapter. Lol which you said u didn't. Unless u can find a 4wd chev trans

And clocking Is the angle. U can buy clocking rings or you can get crafty with a drill. I use a drill. I'm cheap lol.

Ok, so the transmission from that truck wouldn't work with my jeep? I know that the truck wouldnt have a transfer case, so I could buy the adapter for that but for the transmission, is it going to make a difference with it being 2wd and the jeep 4?

If you buy the Novak adapter then you just order the one for the 2wd case. It will adapt ur t case to the trans.
