Cherokee coils fit a TJ?

Yes. Rear TJ coils are a lot shorter than XJ and TJ front coils. You can swap front coils to the rear for 2" or 3" of lift and some silly flex  [addsig]

I just heard from someone who said "yes they will fit but it will be a very rough ride,
due to the spring rate difference" Is this true or if I ordered new 3" longer coils for a TJ would they be the same as a Cherokee? Anything that I have read says that the weight is very similar. And how much lift can you put in a TJ without longer control arms... etc? If I got a TJ would I be alright doing 3" coils all around, 1" or 2" body with 32's? Thanks fellow Jeepers! :-) [addsig]

3" coils would be enough by themselves to fit 32" tires on a TJ. You can go up to 4" or so with the stock control arms, but it's best to get longer lower arms at this height.[addsig]
