cheap lift for tj guys

a buddy just put some jku springs on his tj and ended up with about 3" of lift, for free. someone donated him some springs. he didn't use the rubicon springs, he used hte regular springs so if you can find some springs for cheap, you can do a nice riding lift.

just use some f150 shocks to cover that part.
 

Great tip. One that has worked for me is buying a set of 4" front springs, then move the stock front springs to the rear.
 
Are they rated correctly? I don't know too much about springs, but from what I understand if they are for a heavier truck then the ride would be harsh. I can't imagine the JK is much heavier than the TJ though.
 

i guess not. the guy who did it says it rides nice
