CC skimming

I was out shopping at a locally owned supermarket. As i went to pay by inserting my card I popped the skimmer off.
Gave it to the owner or manager. He was going to call the po po??? I took some pics and left. In my car i called the po po and reported it and called my credit card.

The police were sending a cruiser when there one available???
My company said monitor your activity or we could issue you a new card.
Im taking the new card. Now it will be up to 2 weeks before the new card is delivered.

The local ATM had a skimmer installed a few months ago - got a bunch of people.
I've started tapping my debit card when possible - I have no proof, but it feels a bit more secure.

This one looked like it was to steal swiped cards. There was nothing on the insert to read a magnetic strip

I had to get a new card earlier this yr. They told me 10 days unless expedited. I asked how much that cost and they said no charge. I got my new card in 1-2 days.
