Hey guys,

Looking to buy a particular Jeep, and forgot to verify that it has the axle the owner claims it has. I did, however, get a picture.

Can you identify the axle in this Jeep?

Cool, thanks guys. That's what it looked like to me, but I wanted to be sure! I think I'm going to enjoy my stay here at Jeepz! :)

Is this a trick question?

If there's no funny business, it looks and awful lot like a dana 35.

Good lord, the guy i bought it from said it had a Dana 44 in the rear and i couldnt tell them apart so i just believed him(which was 1 year ago) and as i was crawling around under it today, i was like somethings not right here, theres no way its a dana 44. I guess i was right. That turdy-five is gonna snap really easy with them 35's i just know it

Eh, just try to be careful, I guess. Don't push him too hard. I'm sorry that guy said it was a Dana 44.

Maybe you should make one of those tire retainer devises you strap to your frame if the c-clip breaks.

Yeah all you can do is try, I figured it being the Sport and the 6 cyl you'd think it have an dana 44 under there, but its done good so far, i've pulled several people out and barked the tires a few times ha
