Hello I have a 2000 xj that i am putting on a buget lift. Having a hard time removing the bump stops. If they are welded can i cut them off to put my spacers in?
The bump stops are just rubber pucks rammed into the cup. You have to pull out the rubber puck (I used a pair of channel locks from the hardware store), then you can unbolt the cup.
