I still have an aweful lot to do on my 3B. Things to get, parts and stuff . . .I don't even have my wheels yet. I am thinking about selling my Willys wagons to get get more CJ parts:bomb: Should I just slow down or try to sell them?:shades:

I'm a big fan of craigslist for getting things cheap. Maybe you should just take your time and look for killer deal on stuff.

Are you re Willys wagons in good shape? They may be cooler than the CJ...

My 54 is more important to me. I've wanted a hihood ever since I can remember. I saw a guy in town when I was a kid take one up a bluff behind the Frosty-freeze where all the local teens hung out and I was HOOKED on HIHOODS.:shades: Even more than the GTO 8) burn out in the front.

OK, I had to go lookup what a high hood was. That's a cool ride - it's got kind of a square looking hood to it.

Where are you located? I see USA but that really doesn't help, it's a pretty big place. I have some flat fender stuff I am willing to part with, so let us know what you are looking for.

They took the CJ-3A and put an extra piece in the cowl, then added to the hood. The grill was raised to match and WALLAH!!! Willys had room to put the new (in 1953) F-134 over head valve I4 with a massive 72 HP and the flat head was replaced.

I am in northern AZ. I am in need of seat frames (CJ-2A will fit) The reproduction one are mucho bucks or entire seat, don't care bout pretty as long as they can be blasted, painted . I have a V6 Buick for it, but it needs rebuilt with the th350 behind it. Novak has an adapter as well as Advanced but $$$ is stopping me now

I bought a floor and it's almost done welded in along with the riser and rear fender. I should have bought a new tub but it'll be alright. I need paint and a gun. THESE things are what slowing progress.

I have only one pair of seat frames for my cj2a.

PM me with what you got, there might be something there I need. This thing has the stock T90, spicer 18. Someone however thought it needed a 302 Ford in it's previous life. I want that grill back where it started and will go with the V6 i have unless I stumble across a do-able F-134 huricane then all stops and new pathways are routed.

now now... Don't go doing something dumb. While I am no longer allowed to have more than three project vehicles per order of the wife, multi-projects is doable, need to set budgets, and stick to them. I just spent 2 months saving some $$ to get a pair of 16" travel 2" radflo air shocks. probably won't install them for at least another year, but this is how I budget and buy. But if you have a plan, stick to it, cause if you do the long term build and start aquirring parts, then change your mind, some of those parts might become wasted money

I hear what you're saying, my wife doesn't understand either and would rather do something silly with the paycheck than buy Jeep parts . . . like pay rent:cry: and other bills:roll:. But from the onslaught, the wagons were set on the back-burner for the 3B. Not even the '47 has precedence over the hihood. We'll see what happens.
