Hi everyone, The brain on my 89 yj died,what a pain it was to find one. No one around here stocks them even jeep!!! Finally found one at autozone, of course they sent me the wrong one, Well to make a long story short, I had to call my little bro in florida, He found one in 10 minutes. Should be rolling again next week, Sure have missed my old jeep. 8-) 8-) 8-) [addsig]

They run anywhere from100.00 to 250.00 plus a 50.00 core charge, If you can find one make sure you have the id number of the old one,so they sell you the right part. 8-) 8-) 8-) [addsig]

Two Words:

Nutter Bypass

Completely free and will make your jeep run better! This is assuming you have the carbed 4.2 and not the four banger. The bypass takes the ECU out of the picture making your jeep setup just like older ones that had no brain. Most of the time the ECU wears out and causes major problems. The four banger in 89 was TBI so you need the ECU for it to operate.[addsig]
