Jason, I am glad you are happy with them. I suggest you look on line for McMaster Carr and get some stainless steel screws. I got all my screws replaced from them. Once again, thanks for your business and I am glad you like them.

we have one of their ware houses here. they have a walk in place. if its the place i am thinking of

They have lots of fluff.ni took put one bolt out of everything (roll cage mounting flange, windshield hinges, windshield brackets and so on) and I purchased a box of each I spent about $135 but I gott all my bolts replaced with stainless screws and I have spares also in case one gets stripped..... Best thing I ever one. I also got the same heads on all screws but hex drive NOT torx(star) drive. No more busted heads....

Can't wait o get home Saturday evening. I have been gone for 3 stright weeks now. I have some new designs fo stuff that I want to make. Materials are ordered and I am ready to go.... I also got a used set of brake and clutch pedals to use them o make mine out of billet and use stainless ball bearings for them instead of bushings.... I will post here some pics as soon as I make stuff.

Here is a video of how I machine the brackets on my Haas CNC mill. It doesn't show how I do the art work just machining the basic shape of the part. The file will be too long to show the machining of the art work.

I will post more videos as I make other stuff. I have the material for my "utility bar" that will allow me to mount any attachments I want above my dash (cup holders, gps, cell phone...etc). I also got my LED lights delivered. I want to use just the lights and lensed and get rid of the cans sticking out. I am going to make my lights to be flush mount without cutting the body. They will use the factory mounting holes. I will keep you guys posted. Can't wait to get home Saturday evening. I have been gone fo 3 weeks stright now. Getting to hate planes and airports....LOL did I mention TSA.??

i know how you feel. it feels like every time i fly, i get the little code on one of my tickets that says for them to pull me to the side and check all my stuff. one time, they poured out my bag of gummy worms and flipped my book i was reading upside down and dumped out the book mark. what killed me is i was flying on a tdy trip and had my military id and orders for them to see

I totally understand what you went through... I have so many stories that I could start a new thread here..... The worst of it is that people like you and I are being questioned by people that never served, most of them barely speak English or are part of the America haters group...... Most of them failed the security guard test at the mall an now they act like generals at the airport. I am fighting these people every week. So, having to make a living and flying is part of it, I will have to deal with them every week and I know how far I can push without getting in trouble. Arguing with idiots gets you no where....
On the other hand, my daughter found a Jeep truck for sale. I am not sure the exact year but it has 4.0 liter engine, looks in good shape and they are selling it for $350.00 cash and a 50 cc moped....... I gues someone lost their DL.... I might go and pick it up this Sunday.

sweet!! i bought my comanche for 350 about 10 years back. it needed a steering shock absorber and ran great. i would take hte moped too, if it runs. that is some old school cool from hawaii 5-0

Jason,
He is asking $350 plus a moped for it......LOL who will trade in a Jeep truck for $350 and a moped??? It must be a Florida thing I guess. I bet the guy has a DUI and lost his license.... Oh well, it might be mine by Sunday.

cool. i would for sure check it out too.

an 89 comanche showed up locally for 3500. one owner though.

that bit that cut the first shape on the aluminum is the rough cut bit, and then a fine cut, and then a curved one for the rounded edges? that thing makes a ton of aluminum noodles, it looks like, ha ha ha. it brought back memories of running the cmm we had in the sub assembly shop.

You ate right about how the tools cut. I have made a bunch of blank parts. Now I have to cut the logos on them. I am a bit surprised by the response I got on them. I was expecting that more people will want them. So far it is only you and Jake that ordered them. I have seen some on Quadratec that were just plain and they were asking $55 per set. No art work or customizing on them.... Stright out of the box from china. That didn't include taxes and shipping. Do you think that $85 is too much to ask for mine? I am just wondering.... Jake sent me aPM and he thinks he got a job. He is going to find out tomorrow. I am praying he gets it.
Take care buddy!
