Bikini Top install question

I currently have a bestop supertop and I just bought a bestop traditional bikini top. The instructions aren't very good, no picutures.. They say that it is designed to snap to the standard snap studs on the window frame - which I don't have - but they supply you with snap studs to install. When I put the bikini top into the retainer on the windshield, I don't see how I can install the studs to get it to fit right - the retainer seems to be in the way. Anyone else had this problem or know of a solution?

Also, where is the best place to install the footman loops in the rear corners to secure the top?

I think your talking about the 2 snaps that go on each end of the bikini top on the windshield frame? I didn't even install them because like you said they didn't fit. The footman loops I mounted behind the roll bar on each rear fender. But make sure you mount them directly behind the rollbar or else you get that flapping sound all the time from the wind hitting the straps.[addsig]
