How will they hold up to a 5 or 6 hr. road trip? Should I change em? (Remember, i'll have a return trip too.)
 

They should be fine as long as you keep an eye on the air pressure. I drove some pretty long distances with mine and they did quite well--No wierd wearing, chunking, or anything like that

I'll let ya know how my "Trailcutter M/T's" do. 'Bout to embark on a 7 hour today, 5 hour tomorrow, 5 hours Sat., and 7 hours home Mon. journey and I have no choice - can't change them. Mine, too, seem to be a pretty hard compound. I really wouldn't worry about it - like 88 said, keep an eye on the pressure and keep 'em regularly rotated.
 

Good, cause the wheeling trip I posted in the Events section is coming up June 10th and I need to be able to drive the XJ there
