Best (value) shackles?

I currently have some JC whitney extended shackles on my Jeep. I think they are supposed to be 1.5" longer than stock. They seem to lean some, and I just generally don't like them. I would like to replace them with something on stock height, but haven't found anything I like. I don't want to pay $89 each for conferr. The best I've found is here: Ebay shackles

$50 for all four wouldn't be too bad

Any opinions?

hmm... while I haven't done it myself... I've heard that YJ shackles are a good sturdy (and relatively inexpensive) replacement on CJs... anyone out there tried it?

I've got the 1.5" extended shackles on my 89 YJ, and my they cause my stock springs to sag. I hate them. I wish I would have saved my money ( $85/pair = $170 for 4) and just purchased a standard 2.5" suspension lift. I will do this in the near future, but I do like the strength of the shackles. They will probaly add the true 1.5" of lift when the longer springs are installed with a lift kit.

$50 for the set would be a good asking price.

although more expensive a suspension lift is safer.I have heard from friends that longer shackles add more side to side movement (sway?)[addsig]
