BDS Lift

Has anyone heard anything good or bad about a BDS lift or have any experience with them? I searched Jeepz and there are exactly 0 posts that mention them. I've seen some good write ups on them here and here. I was thinking about going with this 3" kit so I can fit some 33s.

This is what the local 4x4 shop here sells and recommends.

I'm going to 33s as well and have been doing some planning.

As to your lift kit - that seems ok. You've got a 2" budget boost now right? Assuming you've already got swaybar disconnects and longer shocks, you may want to do what I did an just get longer springs. You'll probably need longer brake lines as well, and some cam bolts if you don't have them (to adjust your caster).

Rough Country sells 2.5" springs only for $199 - Jeep TJ Suspension Lift That and a 1 inch body lift should put 33s on your Jeep.

That's what I'm doing until I can get a 4" long arm kit.

BDS makes some really nce stuff. springs will be a little stiff at first but will settle in. that settling might/will take longer than most other lift kits.

Kits are fairly complete, generally will net a little more than advertised for lift at first. I really like their YJ military wrap leafs.

I know there body lifts are top notch!! And a few of my friends have their lifts and no problems with them after 3 years so far!!

I do have the longer shocks but that's it. I really thought about just adding a 1" body lift but decided to go the other way. I've been saving my pennies so I can do it right the first time and not have to mess with it again. I think that 33's will be my limit and won't want to go any bigger in the future. Although, that's what I said about 31's.
