Baltimore checking in...

The last time I was out (about 8pm last night) we had 18.5" of snow here at my place and it was still snowing. It's stopped now (fortunately). I'd already had my Jeep out once when these pictures were taken. I took it out again later. I've never had so much fun in my Jeep on paved roads :-). Low range is a beautiful thing. The only problem was I popped a check engine light again (the last time I did any serious 4-wheeling I also got a CEL - coincidence?). P1033, which I understand is a faulty O2 sensor (same as before, but last time it was still under warranty). Oh well. They probably have the roads under control so there won't be as much fun today :(. By the way...in that last photo, see that pile of snow right behind me? I have an old Mazda that's under there somewhere....

oh yeah I remember those days. I used to live in WI. I don't miss driving in that stuff to work everyday but I DO miss wheeling in the snow. It was a blast and the first time I ever had a reason to check out my lockers. I had a 13 acre farm and I wheeled on my land there; got stuck in 4-5 foot snow drifts; engaged the lockers and got out very easily. Never had the chance to use them and so I'm stuck out somewhere on the back of my land in 4 foot snow drifts in a blizzard reading my owners manual about how to engage/dis-engage lockers. Sounds crazy but thats how I learned how to use them -- in the snow!! Anyway I posted a few pics I took while I lived there. First one is first snow storm after I had just bought my jeep. That's my driveway! The last one is my son only about 2 years old; the look on his face is very much how I feel about snow now. he he Have fun with all that snow Jason. Relax you'll find your Mazda come May. Ha Ha!!!
