axels seem to float side to side.

So I am not the best garage mechanic but this seems strange. I was working on my steering system this weekend and noticed that my tires stuck out 1" further on the passenger side on both axels. Today i was cheching the same thing after I have driven it they were 1/2" to the drivers side. What is this about? Is it normal because of the lift or is something else going on?

Take some measurements from a fixed point then drive it and make the same measurments. Usually only tge front will move if track bar is loose but that sounds excessive. I would start by making measurements.

Is it driving down the road ok?

The front and rear trackbars restrict side to side movement of the axles. The axles will move side to side under suspension compression due to the design of the trackbars so it's possible the suspension was simply leaning differently each time you looked at the tires.

Drives perfect. I may be able to contribute this to the lift and the rear track bar bracket but the front is a heavy duty adjustable only 18 months old. It was parked in my garage both times just different entry angle.
