ARB Safari Snorkel onto my '05 TJ

Hi.... HELP PLEASE! I am trying to install an ARB Safari Snorkel onto my 2005 TJ X... ( have the right one '99+ w/AC) but I have some issues that all the write ups I've read seem to either miss or not encounter... My problem lies in the routing of the rubber snorkel hose under the battery tray/through the battery tray supports, all of the pictures I've seen have it snaking right through with no problem & the rubber gaskets on the openings in the supports. My '05 TJ has one hole in the support bigger than the other & not the same size as depicted in the pictures

... any one encounter this problem or is this a S.O.L. & get a hack saw situation?

My snorkel is on the other side (YJ), but you dont have to use the EXACT sme routing as the instructions; I made a few mods on mine, and it works like a charm.

I had to cut a fair ammount off ot the inner support for the battery tray to get the hose to fit... but it's in & on now
