Hello, everyone. I purchased my first jeep about 5 months ago, an 85 cj7. Been building mud racing trucks for several years. A jeep is no comparison I have been reading these forums since day 1 and you guys have helped me rebuild my entire front end, and have given me enough info to get my non rolling jeep rolling my wife, son, and daughter all took a little ride w me in it today. I thought I would thank you all for past info, and future info. Hopefully I can contribute to the conversation in the future. I still have a ton of work to do, but my biggest triumph so far is getting rid of the death dart from a 15 inch lift and way off castor angle. So. Thanks for helping !!

I do have some pics but trying to figure out how to upload em

Not knowing how you did your lift to get 15" but did you , do a sao with lift spring, rotate the axle for better drive line angle, and cut the knuckles off and rotate then for better castor then weld them back on?
The jeep looks nice.

No I bought the jeep with SOa front pinion angle was way off it was sitting on 6 in perch blocks. I cut the blocks out put original perches rolled the axle for about +4 castor dropped the dang 8 inch shackles(homemade) back to some heavy duty shackles. Ended up taking out about 5-6" of lift but I plan to drive this thing on hwy with family 15 inches was way too high and dangerous. It's got original AMC inline 6 with 3.56 gears I think... Can't remember
