ok, bought a 87 xj waggy with rear blocks and add a leafs. one of the add a leafs is cracked. upon looking at the stock springs i see sag after the add a leaf ( short ones) so i thought i would get a full length set and searched some sites. what some of the other xj'ers are doing is cutting the eyes off a set of s10 pacs and alternating them in the stock xj pac .they claim 2 to 3 inch of lift with these set ups ? i don't mind the idea of a rough ride (my 87 yj will chip ur teeth lol :lol
i was just going to order a new set of short helpers for $50.00 but i think a full leaf is a better idea, but if a s10 pac would give me enough lift to throw the block away........i would spend the day at our local recycler yard and cut me some springs . anyone here use s10s or the like ??
