I see they sell them but was wonder how people got around the wires that go into the doors ? (speakers, wires for mirror controls, etc).

i thought about getting some for the fronts (after getting a XJ of course)

Also,what about structural(s?) ??

any comments/pics would be appreciated,Thanks in advance..

The wiring harness can be disconnected from the door switches and fished thru the lower A-pillar access panel and secured under the instrument panel for future use. Structural?, since it's a unibody, it will greatly affect the crumple zones depending on where and how hard the impact is. The B-pillar is a re-enforcement structure for the top and A-pillar on frontal and side impacts. Without the door inplace, there is nothing for the two pillars to support each other thats attached to the midpoint of the pillars. Not recommended as a DD but you should be ok on the trails so as long as you don't hardcore the rig. And if you do, i would suggest a 5 point harness and bucket seats with a roll cage.

I build these for sale, this set is on my daughters '93. I use 1 1/2 x .120 HREW tubing and OEM latches. $500.00 w/o mirrors + shipping.
I also build doors for JK's and TJ's

Whats the difficulty in using the original doors with these doors. As in how much time would it take to transition between the too and is it possible.

I can do my daughters 4-door in about 5 minutes. The pre-'97's are easier because of the hinge design. They are $500.00 for a 4-door XJ, I don't yet have a jig for the 2-door so I'm only building them for 4-door XJ's.

I just picked up a 97 xj 4 door with a 3 inch lift and 31s for $600 and am kinda puting my thoughts down on paper of what I want to do and what my budget will allow....
