hey, similar to my previous post regarding changing my fuel filter, here's another great one... the transmission fluid! for those of you who don't know when the last time yours was changed, change it! i just did mine, 4 quarts of ATF cost me like 8 bucks... and took about 10 or 15 minutes. crawl under the car, pop out the drain plug. let it drip, plug it back up, fill 'er up with ATF via the hole for the transmission dipstick, and you're off! shifting into gear from park is so much smoother now, and while driving it is smooth as well... highly recommended!
btw, '90 XJ ltd, auto transmission...
stay posted as i continue on the list of things to do:
-3" lift installation - rustys' 3" complete rear spring pack install
-alarm/keyless entry/remote start installation - commando alarms
-transfer case drain/refill - uses ATF as well
-diff's - uses special gear lube[addsig]
