I would definatly have stopped. Here in Oregon (not sure in other states) it is illegal to run from an accident. If he had stopped, and you didn't, you would be at fault and have to pay for the damage to his vehicle. Also, around here, when you call the cops, they won't even do anything unless the other person is actually doing something to you right then and there.

I wonder how Mothers Against Drunk Drivers feels about that? There's a boat thru Burger King on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire so I'm told anyway.
