so i was on amazon.com checking out speakers, i was looking at 6.5 inch speakers and i saw you can choose your car, year etc and it says 6.5 inch speakers will fit in TJs so i guess if your questioning 6.5s fitting your sound bar look for your speaker of interest and check it out on amazon?

They are not made for the sound bar and will not fit flush in the recess like the stock speaker but it will fit with minimal modification.

Just thought I would share this. I was asked once before on what to do if the speaker replacement of choice would not fit in the factory soundbar due to clearance issue on the magnet. I found a simple solution after contacting a local professional car audio store and installation facility. They can offset the speaker by installing mount spacers to make up for the clearance needed fir the magnet. This works great also on a conversion adapter if you want to swap from a round to a 6x9 speaker however, this adapter seems to be very hard to find.
