Air conditioning

I tried to use my AC the other day because it was raining and way to muggy out.Well it only blows warm air.Does any one know if R134 would work on a 97 TJ?I still have a few cans of it left from my last truck.I know it doesnt fix my problem if there is a leak,but its worth a try to even see if the system works.

97 models uses 134a freon, so Yes it will work.

No I dont know if that is the problem,but I have 2 cans laying around so I may recharge it,if it works that was my problem,If it dont then I guess it is something else.

Honestly I am not a big fan of AC,but when its raining and I dont feel like getting wet it comes in handy.

I thought the two primary reasons for AC failure was the compressor was malfunctioning or there existed a leak for the refrigerant to escape (ie the seals were drying out).
