aftermarket tach in a CJ

just got a sunpro tach off of ebay. i was looking for a good place to mount it in the cj5. just wondering if anyone here has one and where did they mount it? i was thinking steering column.

i think most ppl put them on the column or drill the dash

I mounted an Autometer tach on my roll cage, but I don't think that'll help you. On the column is the next best place, its an easy install, shouldn't take more than an hour.

i mounted mine on the steering column with a large hose clamp. it kinda sits over the ignition switch, not directly on top of the column
