superj Well-known member Jun 8, 2016 #2 do those models have blend doors, like the grand cherokee? also, look for a hose disconnected going to the firewall somewhere. i believe rhe ac is controlled by vacuum

JPNinPA Well-known member Jun 8, 2016 #4 2x vac leak start at the intake and work towards the interior. There is a vac resivoir under the battery.

B BobW New member Jun 14, 2016 #5 Vac leak was the problem. The rubber tube that goes into the manifold was rotted away. I used a tie to clamp it down until a new one arrives.
