Dummy me when I took the soft top off in the fall and put the hard top on just threw the soft top in the closet and forgot about it. I just brought it out to get ready to put it back on and my windows are a little out of shape. They look like this ~ Any ideas on how to flatten them back out? or will they go back into shape if I just let them set on a flat surface for a while?[addsig]

Lay it out as flat as possible on the grass for a couple of hours in the warm sunshine and they will soften up real nice for you. tug  [addsig]

can't imagine using pledge spray on my windows - don't even use it on my furniture.

Yeah, pledge does work great for keeping the windows clear. I first heard about it from my mechanic and it works great!

There should be a 'delete' icon on the post if you want to delete the double.

A good plastic polish works good, I've used Mother's brand.[addsig]

I use pledge on my soft windows. It works great. It seems to have also removed a few scratches.

I prefer to lay my windows on grass. It's softer and less risk of getting them scratched. Even better is to lay them on the floor inside your house, where a sunbeam comes in through the window. The sunlight is magnified and will heat it up quicker. This is also how I fixed warped records. I would put them between 2 sheets of glass and let the weight of the glass and the heat flatten them out.[addsig]

Black steet plastic will really heat it up but have never seen the need. Tug[addsig]
