A good place to live?

I tell ya what, I would absolutely love Alabama... drove thru from top to bottem several times and love the scenery in the state. But we'll see what happens

Alabama: NO.. Not very pretty and it's hot as hell, serious rednecks
Lousiana: Depends on if you like culture shock
Florida: NO.. very high cost of living
Georgia: Ok, Lived there for 13 years, very hot, Although big UGA fan
Iowa: Ok, Don't know much about it, but cold winters

I would go with GA or FL....Depends on how much $$$$ you got

Your Crazy....Alabama has to be the ugliest state or maybe Mississippi. Couldn't pay me to live there and talk to those people.

Wow, a lot of response. I guess I should make it clear. Im trying to become a Conservation officer (Game warden might be what your used to calling them) so some states get left out in a hurry (Mud, as much as I think i'd like N. Carolina, they require a 4 year degree, or experience in law enforcement, I only have a 2 year degree. Same with Tennessee, which Id love, and many western states.) Im avoiding big cities at all costs, I HATE cities. Anyway, thanks guys, and keep it coming!!

Well then, why didn't you say so...

Come to PA. Specifically Southern York County. We truly do have it all, even a red light.

Well you could always join the Pennsylvania Dutch folks over in Lancaster County... the Amish are all about the simple life.
