97 wrangler heater don't heat

if the jeep is sitting in the driveway, some heat will come out but not much. It took about 15 minuites for the frost to melt off the windshield this morning and i still had to do scraping. If the blower is turned up to the 3rd or 4th position, only cold air will blow out. It's like if the blower is blowing out too much and the heater can't keep up with it. Driving down the road this morning there was the faintest trace of heat coming out but only if the blower was on the lowest setting. Heater core needing to be replaced?

Simplest thing first, check your coolant level in the radiator. If it's low, it can't circulate through the cooling system and heater core.

yeah check your thermostat.. i changed one out in my truck last week becasue it was doing the same thing.. mine had stuck wide open.

yeah, i'm hoping it's just the stat. i'll get one friday and see if anything changes.
