94 gcl problems

Heres where we are --history--bad vibration upon acceleration--replaced motor mounts--also installed new cap -plugs -wires and rotor----plugs looked worn and build up on cap and rotor present but everything looked to be evenly worn--the vibration seems to have gotten slightly better --more of a shudder upon acceleration and I noticed some loss of power going uphill --adjusted my trans/throttle cable per the Haynes book--again slight improvement--also changed TPS--no changed noticed--at same time removed and cleaned IAC and throttle body --no CEL present at this time and today while driving seems I have lost my water pump--next Sat's project--question --is it possible the bad mounts could have taken out my water pump? or more likely caused by me jacking up the engine to do the mounts? sorry for the long post but would like to get tthis Jeep running smoother--4.0 il 6--auto trans thanks
 

Not an expert, but I'd assume that the belt would break before the water pump.
