92 comanche bed removal

has any one taken the bed off a Comanche? do I need to take the gas tank out too because I see the straps around the tank hook the the bed.

Then you would either need to support it or remove it. I'm on my second Comanche but have never taken the bed off.

ok, I take there 8 or so bolts holding the bed on, i need to fix the frame where sock mount was and figured it would be way easyer with out the bed on there. this is Comanche # 2 for me. I'm trying to get it ready befor the snow flys and the salt trucks come out.

ya its a pain because the spare tire holder is also mounted to the bed so look out for that
