87 YJ valve cover.

I have an 87 YJ with the plastic valve cover that always leaks. I have looked everywhere including quadratec, morris 4x4, jcwhitney for a replacement. No one has it. I have found others, but I live in Alaska and no one will ship up here. I have found aluminum ones, will those bolt right on or what? Please help.

Here's a plastic one:

The metal ones should work fine though (as long as it's made for your engine). You could also try just buying a gasket like this for only $15:

Is that second link for the gasket, the same gasket that comes in the kit? Is there any difference in the aluminum covers for the 86 and 87 4.2L
