i have a 1987 jeep wagoneer and i love this thing! it has the 4.0 of course and a 5 spd manual transmission. the only thing i dont like about it is the fact of my dad's 98 explorer limited v8 being able to push it in the dirt EVERYTIME we race. i looked up the specs and hes only pushin about 22 more horses than i am. torque i believe we are the same, but when we race he always leaves me in the dust and i want to do something about it. im not much of a performance guy but no i think i want to change that. what can i do to my jeep to beef it up with a budget of $700? i already have a custom exhaust. (now by custom i mean my drunk redneck friend cut my muffler off and welded a pipe of the catylitic converter.) and thats about it. what would you guys recomend? any advice is greatly apprecaited
